Premium Subscription

1. Free vs Premium Comparison
1.1 Free Plan Features
The free version of RemindMe includes:
- Up to 4 Active Reminders: Create and manage up to 4 simultaneous active reminders
- Time-Based Reminders: Reminders triggered by specific times and recurring patterns
- Add One Location: Store one location for reference (location-based reminders not available)
- Customization: Personalize reminders with custom titles and descriptions
1.2 Premium Plan Features
The Premium subscription includes all Free features plus:
- Unlimited Active Reminders: Create and manage unlimited reminders (performance optimized up to 99 simultaneous reminders)
- Unlimited Locations: Add and store unlimited locations for your reminders (optimized up to 15 active location-based reminders)
- Location-Based Reminders: Receive reminders automatically when you arrive at specific locations using GPS geofencing
- Advanced Customization: Full control over reminder behavior, notification frequency, and location-based triggering
Performance Optimization
While Premium offers unlimited reminders and locations in theory, RemindMe is optimized for up to 99 simultaneous reminders and 15 active location-based reminders for optimal device performance.
2. Pricing and Billing
2.1 Subscription Plans and Pricing
RemindMe Premium offers two subscription plans:
- Monthly Plan: $2.99 USD per month (or equivalent in your local currency)
- Annual Plan: $19.99 USD per year (or equivalent in your local currency)
Pricing may vary depending on your location and currency. Currency conversion is handled automatically by the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store).
2.2 Billing Cycle
Your subscription will be renewed automatically at the end of each billing period unless cancelled beforehand:
- Monthly subscriptions: Renew every 30 days
- Annual subscriptions: Renew every 365 days
You will be charged on the renewal date using the payment method associated with your app store account. Your subscription will continue to renew automatically until you cancel it.
3. Subscription Access and Usage
3.1 When Premium Access is Active
While your subscription is active and payment is current, you have full access to all Premium features, including:
- Unlimited active reminders
- Unlimited location storage
- Location-based reminder functionality
- All advanced customization options
3.2 Cancellation
You can cancel your subscription at any time through your device's app store subscription settings (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). Cancellation instructions are typically available within the app or in your app store account settings.
3.3 Access After Cancellation
If you cancel your subscription, you will retain access to Premium features until the end of your current billing period. For example:
- If you cancel on the 10th with a billing date of the 20th, you retain Premium access until the 20th
- After the billing date passes, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan
Your reminders and data are preserved during the downgrade process.
Immediate Access Loss
If you request a refund from the app store, your Premium access will be immediately revoked, and your account will downgrade to the Free plan without warning.
4. Downgrade from Premium to Free
4.1 What Happens During Downgrade
When your subscription expires or is cancelled, your account automatically downgrades to the Free plan. Here's what happens:
4.2 Reminders During Downgrade
Your reminders are NOT deleted. Instead:
- Only your first 4 active reminders remain enabled and will send notifications
- All reminders beyond the 4th are placed in a locked state and will not send notifications
- Locked reminders are preserved in your history and can be reactivated if you resubscribe to Premium
4.3 Locations During Downgrade
Your locations are NOT deleted. Instead:
- You can retain all stored locations
- Location-based reminder functionality is disabled
- Location-based reminders (reminders triggered by GPS arrival) will no longer send notifications
- However, the location data and location-based reminders are preserved and will reactivate if you resubscribe to Premium
Data Preservation
RemindMe ensures that all your data is preserved during downgrade. You won't lose reminders or locations—they're simply restricted until you resubscribe to Premium.
5. Reactivating Premium
5.1 Restoring Premium Access
If you resubscribe to Premium after downgrading or cancelling:
- All locked reminders are immediately unlocked and reactivated
- Notifications for locked reminders are rescheduled to their original times
- Location-based reminder functionality is immediately restored
- All stored locations become available again
5.2 No Data Loss
Reactivating your Premium subscription does not result in any data loss. Your reminders, locations, and history remain intact and are immediately accessible.
6. Refunds and Payment Disputes
6.1 Refund Policy
All subscription payments and refunds are processed through the app store (Apple App Store or Google Play Store). RemindMe does not directly process refunds or payments.
6.2 Requesting a Refund
If you wish to request a refund, you must contact the app store directly:
- Apple App Store: Visit Apple's refund request page
- Google Play Store: Visit your account and follow the refund process in your order history
RemindMe cannot process, approve, or deny refund requests. All refund decisions are made by the app store.
6.3 Immediate Access Revocation
If a refund is approved by the app store, your Premium access will be immediately revoked, and your account will automatically downgrade to the Free plan without notice. Locked reminders and disabled location features will take effect immediately.
6.4 Billing Disputes
For billing issues, duplicate charges, or unauthorized transactions, contact your app store's customer support:

7. Subscription Management
7.1 Viewing Your Subscription Status
You can view your subscription status and manage your subscription through your device's app store settings:
- iOS: Settings > [Your Name] > Subscriptions > RemindMe
- Android: Google Play Store > Account > Subscriptions > RemindMe
7.2 Updating Payment Information
To update the payment method associated with your subscription, go to your app store account settings and update your payment information there. Changes apply to future billing cycles.
7.3 Changing Your Plan
You can switch between the monthly and annual plans at any time through your app store subscription settings. Changes typically take effect at your next billing date.
8. Term and Termination
8.1 Subscription Term
Your subscription begins on the date you purchase it and continues for the duration of your selected plan (monthly or annual) unless cancelled earlier.
8.2 Automatic Renewal
Your subscription will automatically renew at the end of each billing cycle unless you cancel it beforehand. You are responsible for managing your cancellation.
8.3 Termination by RemindMe
RemindMe reserves the right to terminate subscriptions in cases of abuse, fraud, or violation of these terms. In such cases, your Premium access will be immediately revoked.
9. Changes to Subscription Terms
9.1 Price Changes
RemindMe reserves the right to change subscription pricing. Any price changes will be communicated to you before taking effect. Continued use of the subscription constitutes acceptance of the new pricing.
9.2 Feature Changes
RemindMe reserves the right to add, modify, or remove Premium features at any time. We will attempt to notify you of significant changes, but this is not guaranteed.
